I started blogging a couple of years ago, as a way to capture memories and tell funny stories about my ever-crazy kids. But over the course of a year or so, my blogging turned into more of a hobby. I found lots of fun people with cool ideas in the crafting and fashion world. Which are my two of my hobbies/passions (besides my babies, hubby, fitness and work of course). So while the majority of this blog is dedicated to my family and these said hobbies, I try to throw in a few tutorials that I've found helpful, along with some links to my favorites places and blogs.
Let's see if I can do a snapshot of "Me" in a few short sentences. Here goes.
I was born and raised in Indianapolis. Went to college for 4 years at Purdue University (Boiler Up!), then headed east to the Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC. Loved my time there, totally thought I was going to be an east coaster....you know a big-wig fashion buyer in the heart of the big apple. Then, while home for the summer in between college and my first really job, I met my soon-to-be husband Andy:
And I fell in love.
So while I did have to move back to the east coast (this time, Boston) for my job, I didn't last long. You know the saying "Distance makes the heart grow fonder?".....well my heart was back in Indy with Andy.
So I moved home.
Got married.
And had a couple of kids.
Emma, 5
Drew, 2 1/2
Aside from these amazing people above, I have a few things I am passionate it.
1) Fitness
2) Fashion
3) Crafts
4) Work
Yup, work. And yup, I love it. I'm a full-time working mom who crams about a million things into one day, but I wouldn't have it any other way.
So there it is in a nutshell. Here you'll find stories of my family, experiences of my adventures, maybe a few tutorials along the way, and plenty of pictures!
